STATEMENT OF FAITH

We encourage you to take time each day to read Gods word. The Word of God is alive. What do we mean when we say that? It brings something fresh every time we read it.

We have a weekly Bible Class on Wednesdays which looks at different biblical subjects and is a very interactive session. Our Pastor encourages individual thought and research so each person gets the opportunity to give their understanding of the scriptures. There is an open invitation to anyone who would like to attend, just come along and hear what God has in store for you.

Our preferred translation is the KJV although each person has their preference and are encouraged to use what suits them.

  • There is but ONE GOD who is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, and Holy. He is the Father of the human race, Creator and Preserver of the universe. He manifests Himself as FATHER'-in Creation, SON in Redemption and as HOLY SPIRIT or Comforter, empowering and comforting His Church (Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:6; St John 14:16-18)
  • The Bible is the inspired Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16: 2 Peter 1:20-21)
  • God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself (2 Corinthians 5:19)
  • Jesus Christ is the incarnate Word; GOD in Flesh, the invisible God made visible. (St John 1:14; Hebrews 1:3)
  • The Godhead dwells fully and completely in Jesus Christ. (Colossians. 2:9; Philemon 2:5-11)
  • There is no other name under heaven whereby man can be saved. (Acts 4:12)
  • Those who so believe repent and are baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 2:38-41)
  • Water baptism must be administered (by total immersion) in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. (Acts 2:38,39; 8:38-39)
  • God created man in His own image and after His likeness. (Genesis 1: 26-27)
  • Sin separates man from his Creator God (Genesis 3:8-11; Isaiah 59:1-4)
  • Faith is a prerequisite for salvation. For he who comes to God must believe that He exists. And without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). Faith comes by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17).
  • If you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. (Romans 10:9-10)
  • The water and Spirit birth is necessary for one to enter the kingdom of heaven. (St John 3:5)
  • Death and judgement are two definite appointments set for man by God. There is to be a resurrection of the dead at the second coming of Christ. (1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17) There is to be a final judgement both for the just and for the unjust. (Romans 14:10; 2 Corinthians 5:10; Hebrews 9:27)
